Connor Storrie, the rising star of 'The Heated Rivalry', is set to make his debut as the host of 'Saturday Night Live' on February 28th. This announcement comes during the show's latest episode, revealing the exciting news alongside the musical guest, Mumford & Sons. Storrie's journey to stardom has been nothing short of remarkable, skyrocketing from a little-known working actor to a Golden Globes presenter, Olympic torchbearer, and now, a 'SNL' host. His best-known role prior to the Crave Canada hit 'Joker: Folie à deux' was as Young Inmate. Outside of acting, Storrie has been vocal about his involvement in the clown scene in Los Angeles, which may explain his ease in taking on the sketch show. 'SNL' even spoofed 'Heated Rivalry' in a sketch that featured host Finn Wolfhard and cast member Ben Marshall as Harry Potter and Ron Weasley, respectively, in a sendup called 'Heated Wizardry'. If the high demand for personal ticket requests for Storrie's appearance is any indication, his debut will be met with cheers and excitement. 'SNL' will be off air until February 28th and airs live on NBC and Peacock, Saturdays at 11:30 p.m. ET/8:30 p.m. PT. The show is produced in association with creator and executive producer Lorne Michaels' Broadway Video.
